Hillcrest Hospice Lincoln is hiring a compassionate Hospice RN to provide one-on-one care in Lincoln, NE, and surrounding communities. You’ll manage symptoms, coordinate plans of care, and support families through a meaningful end-of-life journey.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and clinically strong Hospice RN to serve patients and families throughout Lincoln and the surrounding communities.

You’ll provide one-on-one care, manage symptoms, coordinate individualized plans of care, and support patients and families through one of life’s most important stages.

What You’ll Do

As a Hospice RN, you’ll manage and coordinate care for your patients while working closely with families, caregivers, physicians, and our interdisciplinary hospice team.

We’re looking for an RN who brings strong clinical judgment, compassion, reliability, and confidence to every patient interaction.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of three years of nursing experience required.
• Hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, geriatric, or other relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, symptom-management, and care-coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with patients and families during sensitive and emotional situations.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organization, documentation, and follow-through.
• A calm, flexible, and professional approach in changing or urgent situations.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to end-of-life care.

Education & Credentials

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska, Iowa, or a compact state required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance required.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
