Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Detroit, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $38 to $42 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and more.

The RN will assess and plan care, administer medications, and coordinate education and discharge planning. A valid MI RN license, health certificate, PPD/X-ray, and BLS are required, with one year of RN experience

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Michigan.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certificate.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions from prescriber as patient status changes.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors effectiveness.

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Detroit, MI to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
