Job summary

NV5 Geospatial is seeking an RMF Specialist to oversee the Risk Management Framework for Air Force information systems. You will identify, assess, and mitigate security risks within RMF lifecycle, ensuring alignment with DoD and AF cybersecurity policies.

Requirements include 5+ years in cybersecurity with RMF focus, Top Secret/SCI eligibility, and proficiency with eMASS and vulnerability tools. Hybrid work in Aurora, CO is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years cybersecurity experience; 3+ years RMF focus.
• Security clearance: Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
• Strong RMF tools proficiency (eMASS, vulnerability tools).
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37/800-53/800-171 and DoD 8510.01.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF implementation for Air Force systems.
• Perform security control assessments and validate controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigations.
• Prepare SSPs, POA&Ms, and risk reports.
• Manage continuous monitoring and authorization processes.
• Collaborate with system owners and developers on security requirements.
• Support audits, reviews, and inspections.
• Update cybersecurity policies as needed.
