Job summary

SteelGate LLC seeks an RMF Security Engineer to provide end-to-end A&A support for a DoD cybersecurity environment. You will map and implement RMF controls, prepare ATO packages, and manage eMASS artifacts across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong technical judgment and experience with eMASS, CSAM, Xacta, STIG/SCAP workflows, and collaboration with system and network administrators to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in RMF/cybersecurity engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end RMF lifecycle support across all phases.
• Map, implement, interpret, and document RMF controls per NIST SP 800-53 and DoD policy.
• Develop and submit ATO packages (minimum six).
• Manage eMASS artifacts and RMF deliverables.
• Support POA&M, ST&E, risk assessments, and third-party audits.
