Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Assessment and Authorization Analyst for the CBP SOC in Ashburn, VA to evaluate systems against RMF and authorize operations.

Responsibilities include creating security documentation, evaluating system lifecycle points, and advising on controls and risk. Required: Bachelor's degree, 2 years' experience, active CBP BI clearance, US citizenship, and ability to commute up to 5 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' relevant experience.
• Strong writing, communication and critical analysis skills.
• Understanding of Information Assurance concepts and IT management processes.
• Experience supporting large government projects on time and within budget.
• 1–3 years as an ISSO on federal systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal assessments to determine authorization to operate.
• Assess security posture and controls against standards.
• Document results and provide security improvement recommendations.
• Advise on system lifecycle security controls and contingency planning.
• Support information sharing across security domains.
