Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions seeks a Mid-level Cybersecurity Engineer / RMF Specialist to lead security authorization for systems in line with NIST and DoD requirements. You will manage RMF lifecycle, create security documentation, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliant, secure operations.

The role is primarily remote with on-site flexibility in Herndon, VA. Requires 3+ years of experience, a technical Bachelor's, and US citizenship with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3 years minimum of relevant experience.
• Experience in security risk assessment and management in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Experience building authorization packages.
• US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for concentrating on overall technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities in coordination with the COTR and Sponsor Staff management.
• Cyber Security teams are responsible for recommendations on continuous improvement of processes and architectures supporting Cyber Defense activities including analysis, incident handling and reporting products, and the reporting lifecycle.
• Ensures effective operations of Agency IT systems and network defenses, providing incident response capabilities and usable reports addressing situational awareness.
• Maximize use of existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into usable events.
• Identify and provide agile approaches to automate manual processes across the cyber defense program and implement technical solutions to return time to mission.
