Job summary

Caribou Thunder seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer in Colorado Springs to support RMF activities for critical defense systems. The role focuses on security compliance, vulnerability identification, control validation, and A&A workload with DoD stakeholders.

You will work with engineering teams and Government personnel to keep RMF artifacts current, coordinate with SPO and maintain system records in eMASS and related documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant work experience; OR Master’s degree and 3 years; OR PhD and 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from configurations and security baselines.
• Perform security compliance evaluations using STIG tools.
• Author, update, and review security testing documentation.
• Conduct annual security control assessments and support continuous monitoring.
