Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst 3 for a position on Kauai, HI. The role focuses on implementing RMF in support of DoW information systems, managing security events, and ensuring compliance with DoD and federal standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years in cybersecurity and experience with RMF, A&A, and NIST SP 800-53 controls. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree and DoD 8570/8140- IAM II or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms such as SIEM, ACAS, Trellix (ESS), eMASS, and STIGs.
• Ability to review threat and vulnerability assessments and analyze risks to information systems and networks.
• In-depth knowledge of Government Information Assurance and Cybersecurity policies, regulations, and standards.
• Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 security and privacy controls and their RMF applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute RMF for DoW Information Systems and assist in A&A procedures.
• Manage and respond to security events and incidents, including triage and after-action reporting.
• Participate in Cyber Security Working Groups and ATO discussions.
• Assist in development and maintenance of cybersecurity programs to protect data, systems, and networks.
• Perform activities related to NIST RMF A&A processes and ensure compliance with policies.
