Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level RME Operator to join the Reliability Maintenance Engineering pathway. This role begins with foundational maintenance tasks and will build hands-on skills in equipment upkeep and troubleshooting while offering progression toward the Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship program.

You will support the RME team, learn through on-the-job training, and help maintain site performance, safety, and uptime as automation grows at our facilities.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Technical education in a related field (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks.
• Replace spare parts following standard operating procedures.
• Use laptops/tablets to manage work orders and documentation.
• Use basic workshop tools.
• Work alongside experienced RME technicians to develop technical knowledge.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
