Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a RME Operator to support the RME team in daily tasks. No prior electrical or mechanical experience required; you will learn to maintain and repair conveyance systems, material handling equipment, and site building technologies.

You will perform inspections, replace parts per manuals, run tests, and use a laptop to manage work orders, all while following safety rules. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  • 1+ years of technical problem-solving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Replace spare parts on equipment following standard operating procedures.
  • Use a laptop/tablet for managing work orders.
  • Use basic workshop tools.
  • Inspect equipment and clear jams, test as required.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and policies.

In collaboration with the technical team, the RMEO helps ensure system uptime through proactive maintenance, monitoring, and strong technical problem-solving skills.The primary focus of this role is to learn and carry out basic maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment throughout the site.
