Job summary

VA Northern Indiana Health Care System is seeking an RMD Educator to provide education and training for employees on Reusable Medical Devices. The role emphasizes compliance with VA guidelines, infection prevention collaboration, and maintaining high standards of patient safety.

The Educator will develop and deliver evidence-based training, lead competency assessments, and coordinate with clinical programs to implement SOPs based on manufacturers' IFU and VA guidance.

Qualifications

• Active State RN license.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN/CCNE.
• Current full, active, and unrestricted nursing registration in a US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and training to VA employees on Reusable Medical Devices.
• Lead clinical education programs and SOP development based on IFU.
• Ensure RMD safety and compliance across the facility.
