Job summary

KBRA is seeking a credit analyst for its RMBS team in New York, NY or Chicago, IL. The role involves transaction analysis, collateral reviews, and publication of reports, with remote/hybrid work options and opportunities to travel for due diligence.

The ideal candidate has RMBS experience or related sector knowledge, strong Excel and analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. The role supports rating committees and market commentary publication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Perform transaction analysis including originator/servicer evaluation, loan pool analysis, modeling and analysis of bond structure, and review of legal structure and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of credit memoranda and presentation of transactions to rating committees.
• Prepare and contribute to individual transaction reports for publication.
• Assist in the publication of market commentaries related to topical events or research.
• Engage in ongoing surveillance of rated transactions and updating ratings as warranted.
• Attend and participate in seller/servicer due diligence (which, in some cases, may require travel).
