River Wildlife Technician, River Wildlife

Work Mode:Onsite

Location:Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Do you lovenature and the outdoors? Do you enjoy working with guests and assisting themwith their outdoor hobbies? If so, the position of River Wildlife Assistant maybe the perfect opportunity for you!

Specificresponsibilities include:

• Maintaining the River Wildlifehiking/cross-country ski trails.
• Assist with dog care (feeding,exercising, bathing) and kennel maintenance.
  
• Responsible for releasing anddressing of birds in relation to scheduled hunts.
  
• Assist the Manager-LandManagement, River Wildlife as deemed necessary.
  
• Operation of the trap and5-stand sporting clays stations.
  
• Coordination of canoe and kayaklaunches along with transportation to these launch sites.
  
• Maintain the lawn areas aroundRiver Wildlife.
  
• Responsible for proper handlingof all firearms by guests and members while on any of the gun ranges orhunt fields along with proper handling and maintenance of personalfirearm.

We have Part-Time opportunities available. Shifts are primarily 8:00am - 4:00pm,weekdays & weekends.

Skills/Requirements

• High school diploma is required.
  
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and meet the ongoing eligibility to operate a motor vehicle.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experienced hunter/fisher/wildlife expertise preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
