Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative or business field.
• 3+ years of experience in a trading, risk, or similar role (sportsbook experience preferred).
• Real passion for sport and understanding of what sports fans want to be entertained.
• Ability to understand and interpret data, translating it into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of customer profiling and risk metrics.
• Working knowledge of trading platforms and systems; ability to troubleshoot and document for Engineering.
• Ability to lead through communication and communicate confidentially with trading teams.
• Comfort leading a shift, making decisions under pressure.
• Entrepreneurial, hyper-growth mindset; quick decision-making.
• Team-first mentality across FBG and the Fanatics organization.
• Willingness to ask questions, learn, and solve problems.
• Proficiency with data tools (SQL, Snowflake) and AI-assisted analysis tools.
• Open to travel to events and other Fanatics offices.

Responsibilities

• Work across core Risk functions: pricing, liability, customer management, error detection.
• Understand key risk metrics and provide actionable feedback.
• Lead operational shifts and allocate tasks based on team strengths and schedule.
• Be responsive to operational needs and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot trading systems and document issues for Engineering.
• Support efficiency reviews of Risk processes and suggest improvements.
• Assist with testing new sportsbook features and trading models.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations to enhance the betting experience.
• Ensure Fanatics places the customer at the heart of trading strategies.
