Job Description

As a Risk & Payments Operations Manager - BetMGM, you will oversee the daily operations of the Risk & Payments teams, ensuring performance aligns with service level agreements.

Reporting to the Head of Risk and Payments Operations - BetMGM, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of Payments, KYC, and Risk Operations, including managing team culture, motivation, service quality, and customer satisfaction (both internal and external).

What you will do

1. Optimize Payments, KYC, and Risk processes to ensure compliance and efficiency, regularly reviewing and streamlining them using available technology. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness.
2. Manage resource allocation for Payments, KYC, and Risk Operations to meet KPIs, considering seasonal trends like NFL seasons during planning.
3. Provide accurate, regular performance reports based on KPIs and SLAs.
4. Participate in planning, implementing, executing, and evaluating Risk Operations initiatives.
5. Ensure timely training for teams through proactive planning.
6. Collaborate with the Quality and Training Manager to oversee employee development and growth.

Qualifications

• Strategic leader who fosters a culture of continuous improvement and team motivation.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, goal setting, and performance management, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• High School Diploma, Vocational Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in any field; relevant skills and experience required.
• 3-5 years managing large teams (preferred).
• Minimum 12 months in a Management or Senior KYC/Payments/Risk role.
• Strong knowledge of Risk & Payments procedures and regulatory standards.
