Qualifications

• Enrolled undergraduate student in a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL from coursework or projects.
• Experience with data analysis and statistics.
• Interest in fraud mitigation and investigations.
• Proficiency with Excel and Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to commit 15–28 hours/week for 12 weeks starting January.
• Familiarity with Looker or JavaScript is a plus.
• Gaming certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SQL dashboards and reports for Risk & Payments.
• Analyze withdrawal/transaction data to identify trends.
• Contribute to fraud trend analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Assist senior analysts with monitoring evolving fraud groups.
• Learn and own designated daily monitoring reports.
• Review flagged accounts against criteria and escalate.
• Support process improvements for chargebacks and templates.
• Compare SOPs across teams to identify gaps.
• Gather feedback and turn into actionable recommendations.
• Participate in training and assist team members.
• Follow SOPs, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
