Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in risk-related field with strong analytics background.
• 7+ years in model risk management or related disciplines.
• 3+ years in leadership or team-leading roles preferred.
• Experience supporting governance committees and senior management reporting preferred.

• Lead model and data documentation initiatives, coordinating with model owners.
• Coordinate model risk assessments and governance of end-user computing tools and AI use cases.

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Operations Support Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will oversee risk governance operations with a strong focus on model risk management, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination. The manager will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to keep governance activities on track, improve workflow discipline, and support clear decision‑making for senior leadership. This position also plays an important role in maintaining data quality, documentation standards, and timely remediation across risk programs.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate model risk management governance activities and program reporting
• Manage model risk management projects and cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder communication
• Oversee the Archer platform and related workflows, ensuring data quality and issue resolution
• Manage model risk issues and remediation governance, including tracking and status reporting
• Oversee ongoing monitoring governance for timely completion and clear reporting of model performance
• Lead model and data documentation initiatives, coordinating with model owners for documentation needs
• Coordinate model risk assessments, supporting governance of end‑user computing tools and AI use cases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business, data analytics, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in model risk management or related disciplines
• Three or more years of leadership or significant team‑lead experience preferred
• Experience supporting governance committees and senior management reporting preferred
• PMP, FRM, CRM, or related professional certification preferred
