The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team's charter is to protect Amazon customers from products that are illegal, illegally marketed, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies. Risk Manager II will own implementing proactive controls on a category and support the team to achieve parity WW. In this role, you will work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end to end product safety solutions. Think of this role as a non-technical “solution architect” where you will be given the autonomy to develop a strategy and build effective controls to ensure WW customer safety.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  2. Experience handling confidential information
  3. 4+ years of program management experience from beginning to end
  4. Experience working with data, and making recommendations based on data
  5. Demonstrated experience setting direction and delivering detail-oriented results in environments with frequently shifting priorities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention
  2. Experience in operations, investigations, risk management, incident or crisis management, or handling escalations
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical subject matter to a diverse group of stakeholders
  4. Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
  5. Experience working with geographically distributed teams within a complex international organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
