Capital One is seeking a Risk Manager in Richmond, VA, focused on identifying and managing payments-related risks. You will consult on Stablecoin initiatives, develop relationships with cross-functional teams, and perform analysis of the Payments Risk environment.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or military experience with at least 3 years in risk management, and familiarity with stablecoin payments. This position offers competitive salary and incentive compensation.

As part of Operational Risk Management (ORM), you’ll work with talented associates to provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure that our business partners are adequately managing risk when initiating and processing payments (e.g. ACH, Wire Transfers, checks, etc.). Additionally, you will support the integration of new acquisitions and ensure adoption of ORM policies and standards. You’ll also bring your unique perspective and experiences to help us be rigorous, curious, and creative.

Salary ranges:
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
