Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure portfolios conform to established risk policy, partnering with investment teams to enforce approved risk limits.
  • Perform risk analysis on portfolios and benchmarks, reporting on market, liquidity, and concentration risk and evaluating risks under normal and stressed conditions using vendor and proprietary tools.
  • Deliver written memos and presentations to committees and fund boards; present portfolio risk and performance analysis to senior leaders.
  • Apply programming skills to develop scalable solutions and proprietary risk measurement approaches.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to monitor and manage portfolio risk, providing analytic insights that enhance investment processes.
  • Contribute to new product development and investment solutions in partnership with business development teams.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of fixed‑income investments, trading strategies, market characteristics, and regulatory environment.
  • Execute ad-hoc projects to devise or implement new risk analysis methods, explaining them to investment professionals.
  • Lead special projects as assigned by management.
Work Experience / Knowledge
  • Approximately 7+ years in the investment management industry.
  • Understanding of fixed‑income financial instruments, derivatives, and international markets.
  • Experience with risk models and methodologies; familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin, MSCI RiskMetrics, MSCI BarraOne, Bloomberg PORT desirable.

Salary & Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $165,000 per year. Total compensation includes salary and incentive pay and may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
