Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join their Risk & Compliance organization and strengthen enterprise risk management across the business. The ideal candidate will challenge assumptions, connect risk to strategy, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

You will lead ERM delivery, advise business units, collaborate with risk owners, and guide governance frameworks while producing executive risk reporting for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional risk management, including ERM initiatives.
• Experience across the Three Lines Model / Three Lines of Defense.
• Experience developing or implementing ERM frameworks and governance.
• Background in large, complex, regulated or capital-intensive organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and ongoing improvement of the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
• Act as a trusted risk advisor to a designated business unit with independent challenge and practical solutions.
• Partner with risk owners and leaders to identify, assess, analyse, and manage enterprise risks.
• Provide guidance on risk management practices, policies, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and deliver executive risk reporting and insights for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Translate complex risk information into clear, actionable recommendations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating across multiple areas of the Three Lines Model / Three Lines of Defense
• Experience developing or implementing ERM frameworks, risk governance processes, and leadership reporting
• Background working within a large, complex, matrixed, regulated, or capital-intensive organization
• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI
