Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Plano, Texas is seeking a Credit Officer in Portfolio Management to analyze commercial and multifamily loans, determine risk ratings, and assess future property performance.

You will review operating statements, rent rolls, and market data, document conclusions, and present credit assessments to senior management on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with commercial and multifamily loans.
• Experience in portfolio management, loan risk grading and risk assessment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to acclimate to proprietary systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete annual reviews on properties and borrowers to derive appropriate risk ratings.
• Review annual property operating statements, rent rolls, and local market conditions to determine performance and risk of default.
• Document and support concluded risk ratings.
• Interact with borrowers, credit executives, and other parties to obtain applicable data for analysis.
• Present credits to senior management on a quarterly basis.
