Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager of Risk Management on the Process Innovation team to serve as a strategic partner during a pivotal transformation. You will drive governance, control, and process excellence across the Global Payment Network and elevate risk-aware decision making at the leadership level.

As a Risk Manager, you will advise Vertical Risk Managers and business partners, coordinate across Legal, Compliance, and Product teams, and lead key program deliverables to strengthen enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of financial services risk management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients.

Responsibilities

• Advisory: Advise and consult with Vertical Risk Managers, Well-Managed Teams, and Business Partners to help develop and implement processes innovation across the Network L2s, and to highlight and communicate areas of risk exposure to leadership.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Manage, implement, and deliver on key program deliverables and horizontal processes, coordinating across Business, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Program Support: Drive strategy and program execution across L2 hierarchy and ontology, Legal Library, and Governed Document programs.
