U.S. Engineering is offering a Summer Risk Management Internship in Kansas City, MO. This full-time, 12-week program runs May through August 2027.

The intern will gain hands-on risk management experience, participate in orientation, job walks, and a community service event, and will be paid competitively. The role involves supporting risk maps, risk reporting, training material development, and coordinating risk and insurance activities with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management or related field.
• Previous internships or coursework related to risk management preferred.
• Interest in corporate risk management, insurance, compliance, construction operations, or business strategy.

Responsabilités

• Assist with identifying, assessing, and documenting organizational risks and risk maps.
• Support development and maintenance of risk management reports, dashboards, trackers, and leadership presentations.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Operations, Safety, HR, Accounting, IT, and other teams on risk initiatives.
