LCS is offering a Risk Management Internship in Des Moines, IA for 12 weeks (40 hours/week) from May through August, with a presentation to senior leaders at the end. Interns gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects and broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

Requirements include college enrollment in Business/Operations/Risk Management, strong Excel/reporting skills, and attention to detail. Competitive rate: $22.50/hour.

• Strong background in MS Excel, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Course work or experience in environmental, health, and safety is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in a professional environment.
• Mentorship and exposure to senior leadership.

Job description

The Risk Management Internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What We’re Looking For:
