Job summary

The University of Colorado Denver Business School seeks individuals to serve as lecturers in Risk Management & Insurance from a pool for temporary, non-tenure-track appointments. Appointments are part-time (<50% FTE) with semester-by-semester opportunities and a hybrid work structure.

Responsibilities include delivering tailored instruction to diverse student groups, preparing rigorous lesson plans, and assessing student progress for undergraduate or graduate courses. Preferred quals include RM&I teaching or related professional designations.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree required in a relevant field.
• Significant professional/managerial experience in RM & Insurance (at least 10 years).
• Prior teaching experience in RM & Insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach RM & Insurance classes at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Deliver tailored instruction to diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
• In-person, online-remote, or hybrid teaching modalities with prepared lesson plans.
• Assess student progress per curricular objectives and report student offenses when needed.
