Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator to support the risk management department with trade partner prequalification. You will administer the prequalification program, invite partners to submit, and guide operating groups on risk processes while communicating status and results to project teams and customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, strong attention to records, and the ability to adapt to evolving procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or at least two years of support experience in administrative support or construction industry.
• Experience in construction, finance, accounting, banking, risk management, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in data entry.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to learn various complex computer programs/database systems.
• Familiarity with reviewing financial statements, credit information, or other financial data is a plus.
• Well organized and strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Open to change based on diverse input and feedback.
• Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Adaptive, effective communication and active listening skills.

The base pay range for this roleis $43,800 - $59,200.

(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
