Job summary

Armanino LLP invites motivated accounting students to join our internship program in Denver, providing hands-on exposure to financial and IT audits, SOC engagements, and SOX related work. You’ll learn client environments and controls while gaining practical skills in testing and analytics.

In this role you’ll split time among project work, ongoing learning, client interactions, and internal meetings, building a foundation for CPA licensure and a career in assurance and advisory services.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world exposure to financial and IT audits, reviews, compilations, and projects
• Learn the client’s system and control environment and how it impacts their associated customer users
• Learn the client’s controls including general controls (financial operations, IT controls) and transactional controls (e.g., reconciliations)
• Learn to evaluate process risks, develop tests for key controls, and determine effectiveness of controls
• Gain business acumen in a professional work environment
