Job summary

Hiregrowth is seeking a Property Risk Engineer for a remote role serving the Midwest, including IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI. You’ll support a Large Property division by helping the business unit understand and manage risk at the front end, partnering with underwriting to improve safety and reduce losses.

You’ll focus on assessing property accounts, reviewing loss histories with underwriters, and collaborating with claims and clients to ensure risk improvement plans stick, serving industries such as

Qualifications

• 4+ years in risk engineering/property
• BA/BS required

Our client is an A+ rated carrier and leader in commercial property insurance coverage. We’re looking for a Property Risk Engineer to support a Large Property division by helping the business unit understand and manage risk on the front end. You’ll work hand-in-hand with an underwriting team and help clients improve safety and reduce losses.

This role will be remote with travel to sites as needed. The territory will encompass parts of the Midwest and this individual can reside anywhere in this territory (IL, IN, MI, OH, WI)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Focus on assessing HPR Property accounts
• Partnering with underwriters to review potential accounts, look at loss histories, and flag any unusual trends or exposures
• Collaborating with claims, underwriting, and clients to make sure risk improvement plans actually stick
• Focusing on industry segments including manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and real estate
