Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS or related field.
• Basic understanding of data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
• Good programming skills using Java or Python (preferred).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms (preferred).
• May be subject to restrictions related to certain criminal histories under applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, analyze, aggregate, and report on significant and emerging risks
• Assist management in improving controls and processes
• Broaden Risk Workstation coverage by conceptualizing new risk indicators
• Analyze data for insights and build data exploration tools
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
• Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain data systems and data analytics tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights
• Help maintain and improve data quality and integrity
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions
