Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6+ month contract position in McLean, VA, to lead data initiatives for a major financial institution. You will drive data product development, research authoritative data sources, and evaluate data quality and governance to enable trusted analytics.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, 3+ years of data experience, and familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS within a risk-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience with Python and SQL.
• At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS products.
• At least 3 years of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as key data lead to develop, evolve, and implement data products for the risk organization.
• Research authoritative data sources for upcoming portfolios.
• Execute and monitor data processes delivering critical data to partners and regulators and translate requirements to engineers.
• Evaluate data management, data quality, and data access processes; provide improvement recommendations.
• Perform data mapping and profiling to enable end users to transition to new systems.
