Job summary

Strategic Investment Group in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Business Analyst focused on data analytics, governance, and software implementations. You will analyze data with SQL in Snowflake, maintain dashboards, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires leadership in data quality, project coordination across multiple workstreams, and hands-on testing to verify requirements are met. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, data analytics, business, engineering, economics or finance.
• Six or more years of experience as a business/data analyst or related role.
• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake experience preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and data governance concepts preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support new software platforms and integrations from requirements through testing and adoption.
• Translate user requirements for vendors and developers with supporting calculations.
• Write and refine SQL queries in Snowflake daily for data analysis and validation.
• Build dashboards in Hex and reports to enable business users to access data.
• Document data flows, decisions, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and maintain project schedules.
• Support Salesforce with light configuration and vendor coordination.
• Assist legacy systems and internal tools with inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Help design and rollout firm-wide data governance, including definitions and data quality standards.
