  • Conduct specialist Risk Assessment surveys at complex client locations to identify potential hazards and risk factors
  • Provide consultation to clients on hazard control to reduce or mitigate losses
  • Serve as a technical resource to Risk Control Consultants and Underwriters
  • Build and maintain relationships with underwriting teams, brokers, and clients
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory environments and emerging issues in the technical specialist discipline
What is Required
  • Bachelorered degree in a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in fire science, technical science, engineering discipline, or property fire protection
  • Valid driverer license
  • Ability to obtain necessary state-specific certifications where applicable
  • Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Eight or more years of experience in Property/Highly Protected Risk (HPR)
  • Experience in technical training
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with insurance products and risk selection practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant Risk Control computer systems applications
