Overview:
The Governance and Compliance Leader is responsible for building, implementing, and owning an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework that is designed for Scheels' business and culture. Reporting to the General Counsel as part of the Legal, Risk & Compliance function, this role partners with leaders across the company to identify, analyze, prioritize, and report on risks that could affect Scheels and its strategic objectives. This role also designs and owns the processes that support risk and compliance programs across the business, helping teams make informed, risk-aware decisions. Successful candidates are big-picture thinkers and strong relationship-builders who can communicate clearly in a fast-paced, multi-state retail environment.
