Telluride Ski and Golf is seeking a Risk Manager to lead occupational safety, risk assessment, and incident investigations across the mountain operations. The role focuses on proactive safety culture, training, and compliance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities include managing OSHA programs, assisting with workers' compensation processes, radios management, and supporting security with testing as needed. The position requires weekend/holiday shifts and ability to ski/ride at expert level.
Provides risk management support for TSG Ski and Golf, LLC with the main goal to be creating and maintaining a safe environment for our staff and guests. This is a dynamic role designed for someone who enjoys being out on the mountain just as much as they enjoy building a strong, proactive safety culture behind the scenes.

2-4 years of experience in Risk Management, Occupational Safety, Public Health, Mountain Operations/Ski Resort Management, or a related field is preferred. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear reports and correspondence. Ability to present safety training effectively to groups of employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and basic statistics for tracking safety and injury trends. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Ability to solve practical problems and exercise independent judgment in situation with limited standardization. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Willingness to learn new software and technology, including ADP payroll systems, Motorola Radio Management software, Microsoft Power Automate, and the ArcGIS platform (Survey123, SiteScan, etc.).

The wage for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hr DOE
