Information security and Data Privacy are at the core of Anywhere, and your work will help identify, protect, and govern sensitive data for our business areas and customers. The Data Privacy and Compliance Analyst is responsible for assessing applications, policies, procedures, and business operations to ensure compliance with privacy requirements and government regulations for the protection of sensitive information. Our analysts manage data, regulatory, and operational risks related to sensitive assets, monitor business processes, and ensure applications/databases meet privacy and security standards.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with business partners to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, providing guidance as needed.
  • Analyzing and determining the applicability of global and state privacy laws, proactively addressing gaps.
  • Managing the data privacy inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Interpreting regulations and implementing controls to ensure compliance.
  • Guiding internal teams on regulatory standards and their impact on the business.
  • Leading or supporting enterprise projects, assessments, and audits.
  • Supporting the implementation of automation tools to streamline privacy programs.
  • Developing and reporting on KRIs, KPIs, and other privacy risk indicators.
  • Promoting a Data Privacy culture and awareness across the company, participating in industry forums and sharing lessons learned.
Qualifications and Education:
  • Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), vendor vetting, or vendor response management.
  • Experience managing projects of varying sizes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting audits (Operational, IT, SOX) and understanding what auditors look for.
  • Professional certifications in Data Privacy, IT/IS, Risk Management (e.g., CIPP/US, CISA) preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Experience with GRC tools, Data Privacy platforms, and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, NY DFS, CPRA, PCI DSS, and other data privacy regulations.
