Job summary

PIMCO is modernising its Trading and Risk technology estate, moving core systems to the public cloud and re-platforming applications that produce positions, P&L and risk. The Program Manager will lead two tightly coupled streams, reducing legacy on-premise data footprints and optimizing data interactions while maintaining production stability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading large, complex technology transformation programs in financial services.
• Experience migrating to the cloud and re-engineering applications under live production constraints.
• Hands-on public-cloud migration at scale with a hybrid data architecture.
• Strong grounding in front-to-back trading/risk or investment-accounting systems.
• Proven ability to lead delivery across organizational boundaries and drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program planning, roadmap and execution across two workstreams; define milestones and RAID.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application engineering, operations tech and external providers to deliver outcomes.
• Establish instrumentation and evidence to diagnose data issues and manage program financials and cloud commitments.
• Synchronize with risk/finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with firm-wide modernization goals.
