Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supports development and execution of reporting to identify and manage risk.
  • Analyzes trends and supports data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics.
  • Provides analytical support on product initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions.
  • Develops database production processes and performance reports using data mining and analytics.
  • Responds to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties.
  • Remediates data quality issues in cross-functional efforts.
  • Monitors control outputs and investigates alerts.
  • Develops dashboards and reporting frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx, SAS.
  • Extracts, transforms, validates, and analyzes data from enterprise sources including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Gathers business requirements and drafts technical, solution, and process documentation.
  • Transforms complex datasets into insights, trends, metrics, and recommendations.
  • Designs, develops, and automates recurring reporting processes.
  • Performs trend, root-cause, forecasting, capacity analyses and performance measurements.
  • Partners with stakeholders to develop analytical solutions that support strategic objectives.
  • Performs data validation, QA, and reconciliation for governance compliance.
  • Uses Bitbucket for source control and deployment support.
  • Maintains documentation and controls for operational sustainability.

This job is responsible for supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing portfolio trends, supporting the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include working with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs.


The successful candidate will independently manage projects from requirements gathering through implementation, leveraging data from multiple enterprise systems to develop dashboards, reports, automated processes, and analytical solutions. This position requires strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.


The role is expected to communicate complex data and analytical results in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non‑technical audiences while maintaining high standards for data quality, governance, and documentation.


Responsibilities


  • Supports the development and execution of reporting to allow Risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risk

  • Analyzes trends and supports the data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics to ensure alignment with business strategies

  • Provides analytical support on various product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business to ensure company goals are met

  • Participates in the development of database production processes and performance reports for senior management, using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data

  • Supports with responding to complex ad-hoc requests for information from both internal and external parties

  • Provides support on cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues

  • Monitors the outputs of controls and investigates alerts from the control checks

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical solutions, dashboards, and reporting frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx, and SAS.

  • Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise data sources, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

  • Independently gather business requirements and draft technical requirements, solution documentation, business rules, and process documentation.

  • Transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, trends, metrics, and recommendations that support business and risk management decisions.

  • Design, develop, and automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Conduct trend analysis, root-cause analysis, forecasting support, capacity analysis, and performance measurement activities.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop analytical solutions that support strategic objectives.

  • Perform audit-level data validation, quality assurance, and reconciliation procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards.

  • Utilize Bitbucket for source code management, version control, and deployment support.

  • Maintain clear documentation and process controls to support operational sustainability, audit readiness, and business continuity.

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within established timelines.

  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to management and business partners.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced analytical capabilities.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data management, risk analytics, financial crimes, compliance, or related analytical functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
