Job summary

Man Group is seeking a recent graduate to join our reporting team in Boston. You will produce reports on a wide range of funds, including Long Only, Long/Short, Credit and Managed Futures, with monthly cadence and clear explanations of market movements and performance drivers.

You will work with the Performance and Risk team and interact with multiple groups across the firm. This role offers exposure to hedge fund reporting and opportunities to develop your financial analytics and data skills

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Good understanding and a clear interest in financial markets.
• Relevant experience/internships at an investment management firm is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage own workload and take responsibility for tasks.
• Effective time management is essential to manage your allocation of work across the business.
• Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
• Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for data extraction, manipulation, validation, and control.
• Advanced Excel skills.

• The successful individual will gain a deep understanding of the hedge fund business and develop their performance and risk skills.
• We're looking for someone who is capable of challenging current procedures and can accommodate the increasing demands for transparency from our institutional investors.

Job Profile Summary:

The core function of this role is to produce reports for our retail and institutional clients and work on reporting-based projects. You will have close working relationships with the Performance and Risk team as well as dealing with many other teams in the firm such as the investment teams, compliance, sales, and new product teams.
