Job summary

CGS CyberDefense seeks an experienced Advisor – Artificial Intelligence Risk & Governance. This role focuses on supporting clients in developing secure, responsible, and compliant AI governance and risk management programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 10–25 years of relevant experience in AI, cybersecurity or governance. Responsibilities include assessing AI risk and governance programs, advising on compliance and AI frameworks, and collaborating on secure AI practices.

CGS CyberDefense is seeking an experienced Advisor – Artificial Intelligence Risk & Governance to support clients in building and maturing secure, responsible, and compliant AI governance and risk management programs. This role works at the intersection of AI technology, cybersecurity risk, and enterprise governance, partnering with client stakeholders to align AI initiatives with regulatory and business expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead assessments of AI risk and governance programs, including security, privacy, ethical AI, and accountability
• Advise on alignment with AI governance frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001)
• Design and implement AI risk management processes, governance models, and supporting documentation
• Evaluate AI system controls related to bias, explainability, data handling, and third-party/vendor risk
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, legal, and data science teams on secure AI lifecycle practices
• Develop executive-facing deliverables, including risk assessments, maturity models, dashboards, and reports
• Contribute to the development of CGS CyberDefense AI governance methodologies and service offerings
