Job summary

Wildlife Conservation Network seeks a Rising Wildlife Leaders Manager to oversee scholarships, internships, and the EWCL program within the Conservation Programs team. You will manage cohorts, awards, mentorship, and alumni engagement while coordinating training events and donor communications.

The role focuses on building leadership in conservation, coordinating multiple programs, and partnering with donors and colleagues to grow impact. Salary ranges reflect location and experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management experience, including capacity-building or professional development projects.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of the conservation sector and NGO operations.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and collaborative tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program management and delivery across RWL scholarships, internships, and EWCL programs.
  • Lead award administration, budgeting, and compliance documentation for RWL programs.
  • Own reporting, tracking, and evaluation of RWL awards and programs.
  • Coordinate committee and participant meetings across stakeholders; maintain minutes.
  • Plan and execute trainings and convenings, including venues and logistics.
  • Collaborate with other program leads to ensure cohesion and impact at scale.
  • Serve as donor-engagement liaison, and manage EWCL’s website and social channels.
  • Represent WCN and RWL externally at events and within the Conservation Programs team.
