Job summary

FGS LLC is seeking an AV programmer to design, develop, test, and deploy code and user interfaces for AV control systems. Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot wiring and hardware issues and work with engineers to set audio levels and system design changes.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, with a salary band of $60,000 to $75,000 per year. This full-time position includes a standard office environment and potential travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience with object-oriented programming.
• Experience with GUI design and best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Interpret AV control system design drawings and identify requirements.
• Develop system code to integrate equipment from multiple manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues with strong analytical ability.
• Design and deploy user-friendly touch panel interfaces.
• Configure AV equipment including processors and DSPs.
• Perform system testing and debugging for reliable operation.
• Plan deployment, configuration, testing, and customer training.
• Maintain well documented code and system notes.
