Job summary

Georg Fischer seeks a dependable general labor worker to safely load and unload machinery with proper tools and products. You will perform basic packaging, labeling, counting, and sorting under direct supervision while adhering to established guidelines.

Key duties include reading blueprints when needed, selecting appropriate tooling, maintaining clean work areas, and complying with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 standards within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Hazard communication program understanding required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of shop floor packets and procedures.
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked.
• Required to meet or exceed production standards.
• Required to maintain quality standards on all products.
• Safely load and unload machinery with the proper tooling as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the department.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
• Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor.
• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Follow work procedures as set forth by ISO documentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints when required by operation.
• Select proper tooling and process setup as directed by supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 requirements.
