RISE Medical Assistant NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, and TRAVEL REQUIRED

Position Overview

As a RISE Medical Assistant, you will assist in delivering care for patients seeking Medication Assisted Treatment, as well as adult and pediatric healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical support during operating hours, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and performing drug and alcohol screens.
  2. Assist in rooming patients, collecting pertinent information for Suboxone and Vivitrol treatments.
  3. Input all paperwork and behavioral health documentation accurately.
  4. Educate patients on prenatal and chronic disease management under provider guidance.
  5. Administer medications, conduct diagnostic tests, and assist with treatments under supervision.
  6. Perform clinical skills such as blood pressure measurements, EKGs, lab tests, vision tests, and specimen collection.
  7. Ensure timely patient care and monitor wait times.
  8. Maintain and sterilize equipment, adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
  9. Schedule referrals, manage phone messages, and coordinate prescription calls.
  10. Travel to other locations as required and contribute to a safe work environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  1. Medical Assistant school diploma/certification.
  2. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
  3. BLS CPR Certification.

Physical Requirements
