Job summary

A technology leader in computing platforms is seeking a datacenter system software architect. You will work at the forefront of the RISC-V revolution, designing high-performance systems for datacenters and collaborating with teams to ensure effective integration of new technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in defining server requirements, strong communication, and project leadership skills, along with proficiency in low-level code development in C. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in defining server requirements and working in hyperscaler environments.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, and experience with Linux distributions.
• Experience with RISC-V ISA and software ecosystem is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems and software for RISC-V deployments.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate requirements into SiFive systems.
• Develop RISC-V software and firmware stacks for servers.

Skills

Experience defining requirements for x86 or ARM servers for hyperscaler use cases

Strong communication skills

Strong project leadership skills

Experience developing low‑level code in C

Experience writing and reviewing architecture specifications
