Job Summary:** The Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various heavy civil and mechanical equipment on construction sites, without the requirement of a driver's license for vehicle operation. This role is crucial for supporting construction activities by moving materials, excavating, grading, and performing other tasks as directed by site supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy civil and mechanical equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other machinery as required.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and governmental regulations while operating equipment.
• Excavate, grade, backfill, and move materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other personnel on site.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
