Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Rigid Surgical Equipment Technician I to service and repair surgical medical equipment across assigned modalities. The role emphasizes hands-on inspection, disassembly, reassembly, and testing to ensure patient-ready devices.

You will document services, maintain clean work areas, and support department needs with flexible scheduling. High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of repair experience required; ability to lift up to 20 lbs and operate debugging tools is essential.

• Ability to sit, stand, lift and stoop regularly.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Able to use computer devices and systems as needed.
• Experience with precision tools and basic repair equipment.
• Flexible schedule to meet department needs.
• Able to assemble and repair basic equipment models.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, test equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment and instruments and repair as needed, including the removal and/or replacement of defective parts.
• Document all services & testing performed, including parts used.
• Maintain work area to meet Visual Work Place Standards.
• Handle timecard & time off entry, review and submission.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Inspect, evaluate, and test equipment.

What You Will Need for This Role

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1-2 years of experience with repairs.
• The ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop often.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• The ability to use computer devices and systems as needed.
• The ability to use grinding wheels, soldering irons, sand blasters, Dremel style tools, torches, microscopes, small precision hand tools, magnification tools, tweezers, micro screw drivers, digital calipers and test equipment that require hand-eye coordination.
• Flexibility in work schedule to meet department needs.
• The ability to handle and assemble small parts.
• The ability to repair identified basic equipment models and maintain modality/department standards.
