You will review title takeoffs, negotiate parcels, prepare waiver forms, and deliver property rights documents while maintaining detailed records and weekly status updates. Requires Texas Real Estate license and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Real Estate Commission License (TREC).
• Proficient with MS Office — Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Smartphone required to access ORC systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide land acquisition services across the right-of-way lifecycle in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Review and correct title takeoffs, construction plans, and ROW documents; prepare and submit Waiver Valuation Forms.
• Deliver property rights documents; negotiate and secure parcels through approved counteroffers.
• Maintain contact documentation, conduct final title checks, manage back taxes, and ensure removal of compensated items.
• Submit and track offer letters, counteroffers, and Releases of Damages; attend field reviews and provide status reports.
• Handle administrative tasks including mailing notifications, filing deeds, verifying parcel addresses, and preparing acquisition packets.
• Submit vendor forms to expedite payments and support project closeout.

Compensation: $58,521 - $92,457 / year

Description

Location: Texas (candidate must reside within a 75-mile radius of ORC's Humble, Fort Worth or Austin, TX office)

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt | Report to ORC's Humble, Fort Worth or Austin, TX office 1-2 times per month

Travel: Candidate can expect to travel about 25% of the time locally and throughout Texas

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a valid sales agent (TREC) Texas Real Estate Commission License
• Proficient with MS Office Suite — specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
• An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems
• Valid driver’s license

• Public Sector Agent 1 — $58,521 – $69,899 | Minimum of 1 year Right of Way acquisition experience
• Public Sector Agent 2 — $66,677 – $79,606 | Minimum of 3 years Right of Way acquisition experience
• Public Sector Agent 3 — $77,473 – $92,457 | Minimum of 5 years of Right of Way acquisition experience

Bonus points if you have IRWA certification(s) and/or TxDOT experience!
