Job summary

Edwards Moving & Rigging in Memphis, TN seeks a Rigger to join a crew performing lifting, moving, and placement of equipment. You will operate forklifts and skid steers, attach loads to rigging gear, and follow safety standards.

Candidates should have 1–5 years in rigging or related fields; welding is a plus. Fluent English, clean record, ability to travel about 75%, and outdoor work in varying conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in rigging, heavy rigging, crane operation, construction, or heavy trucking.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Must speak and read fluent English to pass required safety training.
• Must maintain a clean criminal record and be subject to random drug testing.
• Must be willing to travel extensively (75%).

Responsibilities

• Perform general laborer tasks as part of a crew.
• Operate forklifts and skid steers.
• Attach loads to rigging gear for lifting using tools.
• Direct workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Inspect rigging equipment for reliability and safety.
• Work in physically demanding conditions (climbing, lifting).
• Use hand, power, hydraulic tools, or precision measuring devices.
• Carry out any other assigned duties.
