Job summary

Worley in Texas is seeking an experienced rigging technician to assemble and move equipment on construction projects. You will load, rig, and guide hoisting operations ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include selecting rigging gear, attaching pulleys and blocks, directing crane operators, and performing routine tool maintenance, contributing to project milestones and safe execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of complex and heavy rigging, crane operations safety, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, unload and assist in selecting rigging gear based on load weight and size.
• Attach pulley and blocks to overhead structures using bolts and clamps.
• Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook.
• Direct crane operator to ensure safe hoisting and movement.
• Set up braces and rig hoisting equipment with hand tools.
• Assemble and disassemble cranes.
• Splice rope and wire for slings or tackle.
• Perform maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
